December Update
Will has been very busy this summer, starting with the music
festivals which he played for the first time after attending for
years as a punter. He was very pleased with his reception and
hopes to be invited back again.
To promote the singles Changes and Grace, he appeared in several
TV programmes, such as X-Factor, Top Gear, Here Come The Boys,
For One Night Only, The Paul O’Grady Show and Children In Need.
He also took part in the Olympic handover concert in the Mall,
gave a speech at the Oxford Union and attended the Jingle Bell
Ball. He is due to perform at Elton John’s Party on New Year's
Eve, and this will be shown on ITV.
Will has just finished his amazing Theatre Tour, which received
rave reviews from critics all over the country. Will seems happy
with his new band and they often got a special mention from the
critics. It was a simple set, with excellent lighting, and just
Will and the band with no frills. This was what a lot of fans
had been waiting for, smaller venues and a chance to hear that
fantastic voice clearly.
Will is planning a big celebration for his 30th birthday in
January. He shares this day with his twin brother, Rupert, who
has also been very successful this year in starting up a charity
to help people with depression. After battling for years with
this condition, he has set up the Mood Foundation, and to launch
it, did a sponsored pedalo ride down the whole length of the
Thames with Will joining him for the last lap. Visit his site at
www.moodfoundation.com
We look forward to 2009 and hopefully more promo for further
singles. Will is also keen to keep up his interest in acting, so
we hope he gets his chance this year.

June 2008 News Update
New Album & Single - Will’s
4th and eagerly awaited album, Let It Go, is due for
release on the 29th September. Going by comments from friends
that have heard the album we are in for a treat; it has been
described as ‘incredible’ and ‘amazing.’
The first single from the new
album, Changes, will be released on 15th September. We've
had a small sample of the song as little clips were played at
the Brits when Will walked onstage to present an award .
If you can't wait until then to hear him,
here's a small list of forthcoming appearances:
On Saturday 28th June, Will will be performing on the
Avalon Stage at the mighty Glastonbury Festival.
Thursday 10th July sees him at the prestigious
Chiswick House Festival in London.
On Saturday 12th July, Will heads up to Scotland to
appear at the ‘T in the Park’ Festival in Balado
Kinross-shire.
Sometime between 18th July and 2nd August, Will is going to join
his twin brother, Rupert, for the day in pedalling up the Thames
in a pedalo for a charity that Rupert has set up to help people
suffering from depression. Details and how to sponsor Rupert,
Will and many others taking part can be found at:
www.moodfoundation.com.
Rupert will be pedalling the
whole course, while Will and others will guest on certain days.
On Saturday 6th September, Will is appearing at ‘Bestival’,
which is held at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight.
Although it seems ages since most of us have seen and heard Will
performing, he has been quite busy really!
He appeared at the Concert for Diana, at the Little Noise
Sessions in North London (as Will is an ambassador for MENCAP)
and at two sell out gigs at the legendary Ronnie Scott’s Jazz
Club in Soho . This is in addition to various appearances at
Corporate functions and singing at Simon Fuller’s special night
recently. All this, plus appearing in a six week, sell out
production of Noel Coward’s play ‘The Vortex’ in Manchester and
writing with various songwriters for the new album. |
