This sounds really exciting.
Will has always deserved adult audiences who truly appreciate his live performances.
For the last 4 years I have marvelled at his 'live' singing on programmes like TOTP s or CDUK and thought to myself that Will should be singing to a more discerning audience.
He is just too good for these type of childrens pop shows.
The Album Chart Show sounds perfect for Will to show the British public just how talented he is!! :D

Ok right here goes.
Got there lateish, as you guess it we got a bit lost on the underground. Got on the wrong line.
Over 1000 tickets issued for this one it was packed.
But after all meeting up we were the first in. Its a big old ex theatre place lots of balconys.
We were told not to go to the cloakroom, but to go straight in as they werfe queueing round the block.
Seeing as we were all first in, it seemed rude not the go to the stage. They had a big barrier up ala concert style and you guessed it all us along the front row. Good job realy as i didnt recognise any one else.
Danny was there warmimg us up and after a few links the show quite quiclkly.
Will was on first, the band all came on to massive cheers, Howard, John and Issac first, oh Issac has has all his hair cut off.
Rhe on came Pricilla Bev and Michelle, then Joe.

Back too :-P my tube behaved itself thank godddd :cheer:
He looked DDG with his side-parting, completely adored his white vest with blue stripes, black waistcoat (just the two top buttons done up) and black trousers and red studded belt and white plimsolls... definitely some fake tan action too :cutie: His arms looked :faint: really wanted to squeeze his biceps
Keep On was the best IMO... he sexed it up ala CDUK, really playing with the audience, and did a fantastic scat at the end... WAI was lovely but the bass was rather loud, it hurt my ears in places  he did a beautiful ending to it though, and SIO was very funky, he was doing a funny dance with his feet and spinning round, such a lil mover :groover:
They wanted to do Keep On again as there were some sound problems at the beginning but Will said he was happy with it and they didn't end up doing one

Part 2
Then out he came :faint: oh my god. He looked georgous, Dark smart trousers, white cut away vest, a waistcoat, a tiny red belt, white pants, oh and plimsoles. Think he has put weight on, only a lttle bit but looks so much better for it. The muscles on his arms, are back big style, and so smooth, his hair getting longer and parted on the side. Had to be nudged to shut my mouth.
He looked tanned, and no hair at all on his arms.
Lots of men in the audience, all nudging and looking
Then he started, first it was Keep on, it was brilliant the whole place was rocking, much to the surprise of the crowd and the three fellas we met in the queue. The band were a bit loud, and we could not hear it to good. But its seemed to sort itself out. Has to be one of the best so far. All the fella's around us were bopping.
Then he did who am i, it was lovely, i was totally mesmerised, till i spotted Danny up behind the stage pointing at me. Wa brilliant again. The flippin camera's were running from left to right, trained on us.. urhghg.
Then he finished with Switch it on, and got the crowd going again, he was bouncing about all over the stage involving all the band and the backing singers.
When he finished he sort of piroeted of the stage.
Roll on the bloody tour, i cant flippin wait.
Oh the rest of the show, well its just not fair us Will fans taking up the front row all the time. So we retired to the bar letting the fellas in to oggle at sean Pauls dancers.

Well before he came on we had to practice the links with applause and Danny said "and here is Will Young with Keep On" ... not sure if the presenter filmed that link but to me it seemed that they'd show it this weekend, which would fit in with the "Keep On Live" tour announcement
I really hope so Carly! Really looking forward to it and don't want to wait too long. I think the promotion for Who Am I is already starting. It must be definitely Who Am I now or he would have sung ASABPTB.

There's a dance move during Keep On that he does... he did it at CDUK too. he stands with his hand on the mic stand and tilts his head sideways and jerks it back up in little movements, in time to the music. I think that's my favourite move ever, there's something about it... Keep On is so feckin ace isn't it, can't wait to see this back...

Think this shot is just slightly more RAAAAH. ;-)
Do you know what, this performance on CDUK and when he did this move totally sold the song to me. I'm not saying I didn't like it before, but it wasn't a fave, until he did this and then wham, I just fell in love with the track. Wish it was going to be the new single.
I love WAI too, but just slightly worried about one ballad following another. I want everyone (the GBP) to see his versatility. I'm sure them that decide know best and I can't wait to see more live performances of WAI, the accoustic version on Jonathan Ross ....well there aren't enough superlatives to describe that!!

I think WAI is not as much of a ballad as ATL. It's slightly more up-tempo. Don't quite know how we should call them though - Will said he hates the word 'ballad'

This photo is really really sexy! Quite erotic even! :-P Will does a brilliant, sexy performance for Keep on which is so right for the song obviously. Just love it! :D
Regarding his sexiness, though Will's is lovely looking, it was never the main attraction for me in the past, it had always been his voice and his personality. His looks came into it but not really in that way, but as he's got older he has come over as incredibly sexy.
But I have to say, when I saw him at Chilham which is the first time I've seen him close up for a long time, I was completely mesmerised by him, but he didn't come over to me as some sex bomb or anything, love him. Obviously he's on his way to his thirties so he's hardly a young lad but that's how he came over to me, and it struck me as slightly unusual that so many older women, including myself on occasion, are "swooning" over him. It just didn't feel right!
I was struck even more, though, by his incredible voice, his complete control, commanding performances and he was very funny! He was just awesome, but I think the conflict between image and what I saw as reality at that time still confuses me. I really need to see him again. Maybe I would have felt differently if I saw him dressed to impress!
Not that it really matters but if we lark about on the subject of his sexiness, it makes me feel awkward, intrusive even when I later remember the young man at Chilham and it does my head in! I think William conflicts in my mind with Will Young. I'm not sure if I'm talking sense at all! Sorry just had to get it off my chest! What an enigma he is and love him such a lot! :-)

Carrie - Will is an actor, and he can pull off 'sexy' no problem, but I wonder if he too finds it all bemusing. I think it's something about the transformation into his Will Young performer mode that's sexy. For the first time I witnessed every gesture, move, expression - so close - and it was all very, ermmmm, mesmerising 8-) Last night I felt he was in a sort of 'I'm going to sing these songs and don't p*** me off' mood. He just said good evening at the start and waved goodbye and bowed at the end. We were told he was going to come back and re-do KO, which pleased us - but then he didn't :-? I think he just wanted to get off home. I hope he's OK behind the scenes.
One other thing I thought of was he sang WAI and not ATL - this show is going out in Europe - so I guess they have changed the plan and will launch with WAI rather than ATL.

I expect he is under a lot of pressure with his upcoming tour to organise and this was just another promo performance to add to a very very long list of promo performances. Tours take a lot of organising and he isn't one to sit back and let others do the job around him. He puts a lot of the pressure on himself.

He's a terrific actor isn't he? :-)
I think maybe we sort of enjoy and support the sort of "illusion" if that's what it is. I say "sort of" illusion, because obviously he is a sexy guy but, in reality, maybe not naturally overtly so to the whole country!
Oh I hope he is okay! :-?

Yes, there have been a couple of niggling things lately, which I have wondered if they have had an effect on him, particularly the Heat photos, and the fact that he might have wanted to release ASABPTB this time and then there are the comments from Chris, the reality of the situation we have no idea about.
But of course we never know. Well we sometimes find out later if he's been finding things difficult.
I expect he is just under a lot of pressure with the upcoming tour, we don't know how his set in Barcelona went or the creative and he did have a hangover too so didn't feel too great, if, in fact, there was any reason for him seeming a bit abrupt, bless him!
We just don't know how things are for him either professionally or personally! We just have to hope that things are going well. :-)

Not that he does anything that needs an excuse, but I have wondered! Though, when he talked about his hangover on Dermot O'Leary, he described the feeling of being more relaxed the next day which is usually if you've had a crate load, I've felt that! Sick but really chilled! Though that was after his birthday drinks!
I suspect he has a few drinks in the evenings to wind down, like I do actually, but not necessarily to the point of being completely sozzled, and then just exaggerates.
Mind you it does occur to me sometimes that he might be quietly crying out for help when he keeps saying it, :-( not for drinking necessarily but just help with coping with life, (though not actually wanting help, just wanting to hint at things being difficult for him sometimes) but probably not, who knows.
